I am not quite sure if this guide should be submitted, but anywayI am going to share with you how to unblock your account from an i.p ban. Note i am using Windows Vista Home Basic, so it may be different for other versions of Vista. This will most likely only work for Wireless connections, and this guide is based of what works on A Laptop. Step 1: First, you need to force a disconnection or an innteruption beetween your computer. this is easier on laptops. For laptops, just move somewhere where you can't get good connection, or you get an Exclamation Mark on them two pc's down on your task bar. For Computers, you might have to try puting something to stop your Connection from gaining acsess to the modem. sometimes, pointing the modem's aerial away from the computer you are at will work. Keep trying untill you don't see the little earth near the pc's, or you get that explanation mark. Step 2. Next, you need to diagnose the problem. To do this, either open Intenet Explorer or Firefox (I am using IE7.) Instead of seeing your homepage, you should see a "Unable to connect" page. there should be an option "Diagnose". The Second way is to left click (or right, depending on how your pc is set up. really, just press down the button you wouldn't click to open programs). You should see something about not being able to connect, or no wireless conections in range. choose the selection, Diagnose. Step 3: After your computer has gone through the diagnostic stage, you should have a couple of options. Hopefully, one of them "Generate new i.p settings for the modem" if that option is not there, you may have to wait for your computer to have a bad day, and not be able to connect automatically. Choose the generate option, and soon it will be completed. Step 4: Go and fix what you did, like, if you moved out of range in the first step, move back into range, or, if you blocked the connection, remove the thing blocking the connection. You should now be connected. Step 5: Open Digimon rpg and log in. your i.p shouldn't be blocked anymore. -This may also be a way to evade the Foreigners I.P ban thingy?- ScreenShots coming soon  If you have any questions, or your having problems, please say so. I will try and answer your question the best i can! Helpful Info: The two pc's can be found near the battery and time meters (if using a laptop) You can also cause a disconection by turning off your modem, but this may cause inconvenience for other family members, and may not work. |

Im pretty sure you might be able to do this on a computer with XP S2, but not entirely. I'm pretty sure the only way to generate a different i.p for your computer/laptop only, is to use the method in the guide. If i do come across a way on XP, I'm pretty sure DRO2 will be out by then, and the bannings will only happen if you really do break the rules. |
