| Interests | Well...what to say...what to say...I'm a fortune cookie writer by trade but have been known to moonlight in the cheese sniffing industry from time to time. Apparently I have been blessed with quite the gift of smell, a gift that was fine tuned while backpacking atop French Polynesia's Mount Otemanu. It was here, of course, that I stumbled across the wayward Bulgarian frigate, Karanovo. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what an honor it is to be invited aboard one of those sea beasts. So, with a hint of curiosity on my mind and the winds of adventure at my back, I set sail, not knowing where I was headed. It was approximately 45 days into our voyage when we were attacked by a slightly confused WWII Japanese Type C-3 submarine, code-named Momi. I know, I know, I also believed that particular vessel was sunk during a secret mission off the cost of Lorient, France, but apparently, we were wrong! Soon after I was taken hostage. Not being well versed in Japanese, I communicated with my captors using a broken form of European sign language (not to be confused with the more widely known American sign language), mixed with the "waggle dance" or "dance language," which is most commonly found among honey bees wishing to return to their hives. Through this, I was able to teach the men many valuable skills such as hair boiling and how to make jewelry from bird feces. In return, they explained the ancient art of fortune cookie writing to me, a skill I've been using ever since. After a few months, we resurfaced just off the coast of Saipan...oh the irony!! I was released, tears were shed...and thats how babies are made... |
