This is my Costom Member title

The MC RPG is great! But Every pokemons uniqueness is kind of taken away. Different pokemon have different stats, but it's been created so each pokemon has the same stats. A magikarp & arceus have the same HP, same attack damage. Each pokemon has basic stats--Over while I was gone I made some dorky pokemon board game, & this is how I decided attack damage: Attack damage x .1 + Special attack / Attack ÷ defence / specail defence = T HP-T... that's the basics there's a lot more to explain. With the technique we're using now & the one I just explained aren't the best though--Because everything in your RPG could just be 1 sentence long a post. My favorite way, is when each pokemon has 100% HP. The mods are trusted & when someone attacks they'd estamate there damage done to the pokemon. of course Higher lvl. Pokemon or pokemon with high HP would do more damage. Plus to encurage a description of the pokemon & actions it would be more likely to have more damage done if they did a good discriptoin. Instead of saying: Magikarp use tackle! Some pokemon can't attack aswell so instead of saying attack commands you can say something like: Magikarp Flail into the air & smash your head into the opponet! The mods would aslo determin if the move dodges or crashes, or any type of side effect. Maybie in your discription to your pokemon you could keep track of your pokemons stats some how... But that's a little much... It would also be cool if the 5 clans had a little more differences... I hope this topic isn't offencive. If it is, sorry. & exuse me for any spelling errors... |

I've noticed the same thing about the stat thing. What I did on my forum's RPG is I made pokemon that had a REALLY BIG difference in stats would have more in that particular category. . . |

You're very right about that- percentages work well, I've seen. I'll have to consult Krona (as in, wait until she comes online again and sees this topic) but chances are the system will be changed. Which reminds me, I need to get MC up and running again. |

Yeah, you're right. x_x; Sure, I think we should change it. XD The mods will have to be really trusted to do all the damage correctly, I suppose. I've been thinking about the clans, but I can't think of any good ideas. xD; |
