The Metroid series and the Zelda series have been neck and neck on the charts of best games ever. Sometimes Super Metroid is #1, sometimes Ocarina of Time is #1. But... What about the characters? Who kicks butt the most? The coolest? Why am I asking all these questions? It's up to YOU! (Well, maybe not...) :ph43r: To me... I like Samus! Not only does this bounty WALK away fro explosions, SHE is a GIRL! |

Link... cuz he has a sword... I haven't played the zelda games or metroid very much, so I only have mai experience from SSBM to choose... and Link is awesome! |

Link has a shadow. He time travels in multiple adventures. He's got masks 'n' rings. He gets girls who don't really exist to fall in love with him...and trees xP. He carries seed that combust themselves. He has a cute, little sister. He can play a variety of musical instruments. He's slain enough octoroks (SP?), moblins, zolas, nightmares, reapers, fishies, and so forth to easily be at the top of all video game heroes... |

I would say Link, because I'm a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series. But Samus has that suit and unlimited ammo, Link has weapons he could lose. So I choose Samus. |

Hard to decide. Link maybe, mainly because... Well, he's Link. He was also the first to have a dark side, with Dark Link in Zelda II: The Adventures of Link, had the ability to blow the entire area around him up with the Bombos spell in ALttP for the SNES, had the barrier creating Cane of Byrna we all know and
love (Which seriously needs to make a return), and plus, Roc's Cape from the Oracle games was just awesome. Samus possibly, cause she's got the Screw Attack. And you've gotta love the Phazon Hypermode in MP3C, the Grapple Beam is a hundred times cooler than the Hook/Long/Clawshot. The Fusion suit in Fusion was awesome, AND she's prevented the destruction of not one, but nine planets (Yeah, sure they blow up, but that's just a portion of it, not the whole thing o_o). Eh, they're both awesome, so I guess the decision is unanimous for me. I can't decide. |
