Shouldn't you know I'm bound to follow...
This is a game I play pretty regularly. Have any of you ever played Puzzle Pirates, or come across it? It's a really fun massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, and there are oceans where you can play for free, although there's an option of using real money to pay for various things, but there's no item or anything on the free oceans that you have to pay real money for, and once you get used to pillaging and earning money from other puzzles and such, you'll probably discover that it's not too hard to save up for even expensive things. ^^ You play puzzles to perform various duties on ships, in shoppes and in other places or in certain situations.

I play on an ocean called the Viridian Ocean - it's a free ocean, and in my opinion, one of the most interesting, because it seems to be the most populated. The community's generally great; although almost inevitably there can be spammers and such, the system for dealing with rude behaviour is neat (you can mute any player, which means you can't see anything they're saying - it's useful for spammers who are slightly bothersome but don't need attention from anyone on duty - and it's easy to at least draw attention to someone committing a more serious offence). It's loads of fun to work as part of a crew - and you can also be part of a crew temporarily - to earn Pieces of Eight. :D

The puzzles are pretty fun, but one of my favourite aspects of the game is probably saving up for things, like portraits and clothes. Seriously, if you think this sounds at all interesting - or even if you don't - you should check it out, and if you already have and you play Puzzles Pirates somewhat regularly, do share your experiences. :3

In case anyone here does play (or is going to), my pirate name's Flareravage, and like I said, I play on the Viridian Ocean. Here's the website.

If any of you know about any French or German news sites that aren't well-known, please contact me. I'd be really grateful for any extra information for my studies. ^^

I played it for a little while, but I found it kind of boring after a couple weeks. I left it and came back for it, but it didn't take half as long to get boring. :/

It's alright. It's definitely put together well as a game.
