Shouldn't you know I'm bound to follow... Posts: 30 Group: Member Member #11,605 Joined: August 27, 2008 Gender Female	How many of you here are as unlucky as me and have never seen a wild shiny other than by chaining on the Pokéradar? >.> Or at all? I haven't seen a wild one other than by using the Pokéradar as far as I know, anyway. I might have seen one in GSC and thought I'd seen it wrong or something - before I knew about shinies. But I'm guessing I didn't. Anyway, I have one shiny, a Phanpy who I found by chaining with the Pokéradar on Diamond. I'll eventually raise him to be a Donphan.

I knew of that feature, where you see a patch of grass sparkling, but did it take a lot of chaining? I have chained countless times and never got one ;-; Any way, I saw 3 shiny pokémon in Silver. Here are the Pokémon and how I was unlucky enough to miss them: - Tentacool - The box was full - Drowzee - Didn't have Pokéballs - Pidgey - My sister was playing, when I noticed it, she... killed it T.T I have never seen a shiny Pokémon (other than those on Battle Tower) from RSE and above.

I have chained countless times and never got one ;-; Yep, it took a lot of chaining. xD; I think I got it on or between the 50th to the 52nd Phanpy in a row. I've read about people getting shinies with much less chaining, but apparently the chance of seeing a shiny goes up a lot more with more chaining, and you're very lucky if you see one with not much chaining. It is nice to be able to say you've seen at least the red Gyarados. :3 Aww, I hope you do find a shiny, Shadow. ^^

1/10 of the Total Forum Posts are MINE! >D Posts: 773 Group: Member Member #13 Joined: August 25, 2006	IMX has caught 2, seen one more. =3 IMX caught his two shinies while chaining, though one was kind of an accident. xD See, he caught his shiny ralts (female) while chaining, and it was his first "official" chaining victory, though he caught one more while chaining prior to that, but he was only chaining growlithes to help EV Train his marill, and it was only at 2, so he doesn't really consider that a chaining capture. IMX also saw a shiny weezing in FireRed, but he didn't catch it because all he had was his master ball, which he should have used. He really regrets not using it because weezing has one of the coolest shiny forms there is. =O

But if i could download coads to my action replay, which I don't know how to ust the CD that comes with it, I could have a ton of shinies! But I have seen a purple Wooper in my Pearl and a blue Ditto in my Silver...

The one that you trade to Blue/Red and then use your red Guyrados' Mimic on Ditto? Then you trade back Ditto and Ditto is blue? Know it?

And of course the red Gyarados on Crystal.

I think... and nothing in anything else! xD I haven't been playing my Pokemon game recently, as I rarely do in the school year, but when I did, I was chaining Nidoran Females...Shiny Nidoqueen looks so cool. <3 I wish you could chain in water and caves... would make getting some awesome shinies a lot easier. xD I was also trying to get a shiny lotad... Illegible's caught like gazillions of shinies by chaining. =O I was talking to someone one day via msn while they were EV Training a Pokemon for Special Attack on Gastlys at the Old Chateau and they found a blue one! gasp Well, anyway, know that it IS possible to chain ralts and get a shiny! xD

Moon Silver Version) Wurmple (Route to Petalburg City) And anything else that I can't even remember. And you know how unlucky I am. Can't catch even a single alternate-colored Pokémon (except for Gyarados). Conclusion: I don't even have a single alternate-colored Pokémon in my Diamond Game Card. (Why did I even post in this thread?)
