I'm currently reading Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. It's written in first-person, though it's not as powerful as I expect first-person stories to be. And I'm not sure I like the narrator. But it's definitely interesting, and I'm curious to know more about the world it takes place in. I'm also reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini. ^^ After that, I'll probably have to read Brisingr. And once I finish all those, I'm going to start rereading Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke in preparation for Inkdeath, which I believe is coming out in November. <3 |

I just got Brisingr, and I'm trying to read it quickly so that my dad can read it. My friend has a book by Douglas Adams I can't remember the name of that she want me to read, so she's lending to me (I'm lending her the Warriors books, so it's a fair trade). Other than that, I'm rereading random Warriors books, trying and failing to read Inkdeath in German before the English translation comes out and I feel silly, and Pokemon fanfiction. |

Um let's see... I'm rereading Conrad's Fate by Diana Wynne Jones because it was one of many books on my bedside table that I grabbed one night when I was at a loss for a book. And I just went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a couple: I'm reading The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett because I have to always be reading one of his books. After (or before) I finish that, I'll read The Magician which is the sequel to The Alchemist and no I don't know who it's by. :/ For school I'm reading The Odyssey which is cool. :3 |

I think I'm gonna read The Odyssey in school before the year's over... lesse, I picked up The River by Gary Paulsen (a sequal to Hatchet) yesterday at Books-a-million, and I finished it today. xD I'm also in the middle of a book called The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer. I really liked another of her books, The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm, which I read for school the summer before 7th grade, and so I got it at the library last time I went. xD And for school right now, I'm reading A Tale of Two Cities, by uhh someone famous *goes and looks* Charles Dickens. It is very boring, and hard to understand, but I got the spark notes, which makes it a little easier. xD I have a friend who reads like, all the time... well, not all the time, but I mean he reads so fast that like, in 5th grade when we read the alex rider series together, I'd give him the book I had just finished in the morning, and he'd find time during the day to finish it, and they're like, 300-350 pages if I remember correctly, so it was pretty amazing. Ahh, 5th grade was good... we'd read everything together, er, I'd give him a book I had finished and he'd bring it back to me the next morning. xD |

This topic isn't quite two months old, so... I'm currently rereading Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. Definitely one of my favorite books. <3 It's nice rereading it, because now I'm noticing the significance of all sorts of little things. I'm also reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's not bad, but I'm not in love with it yet. And, I'm reading Bunnicula by Deborah and James Howe. I found it in my closet and thought I'd reread it for old times' sake~ |

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, and To Kill A Mockingbird for school... I've read to kill a mockingbird before in 6th grade, and have had experience with the play. It's an excellent book (and play xD)... |

I'm reading Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. I'm also reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare for English class. And I picked up Midnighters: The Secret Hour by Scott Westerfeld. I was going to borrow it to a friend, and then I started reading it. xD I'll probably still let him borrow it, though. I've read it before... though it's definitely worth rereading. |

I just finished The Ear, the Eye, and Arm by Nancy Farmer a few minutes ago- great book. I've read it before, and now after reading it again, I'm pretty sure it's one of my favorite books ever. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm reading The Odyssey for school. It's ok. It seems like it's lengthened a lot more than it needs to be to get the plot carried out. I know it was more like poetry and it rhymed in its original Greek, but... that's not English. A third book I am 2/3 of the way through with is Pendragon Before the War: Book 2 of the Travelers by D.J. MacHale. Pendragon is an amazing series and think this series was a very creative spin-off. It's great, and I also own the third and last book of the travelers, and I can't wait for the 10th and final book of the Pendragon series to come out next month! EDIT: Wow I now realize I've mentioned two of those books in earlier posts. XD That's coincidental... Edited by IceMasterX, Apr 26 2009, 07:47 PM.
