My second favorite gaming series is the Oddworld Series. While not being very popular in the mainstream market, there seem to be quite a few poeple who have at least heard of it. It tells the tale of an industrialist society whose eyes for profit are far larger than their hearts, and they enslave an entire race and make 3 others go nearly extinct just for profit. Abe, the main character, goes around in each game, penetrating heavily guarded areas, possessing enemies to do his bidding, and shutting down/blowing up all of the industrialist facilities like a slow moving contagious disease. So, anyone ever heard of this forgotten little gem? |
