There's a conversation bug in the dialogue of Sayomi (claimant of the Megumi Empire). She says that Yaroglek is the king of the Megumi Empire, that she is called "the Bastard", and that the country of Vaegirs should be hers instead of the Megumi Empire. There is also a bug that causes a huge error message to show up when you cast summon undead. This causes messages not to appear anymore even on the world map. I don't know if this is temporary however, as I got impatient every time and restarted the game. Edited by Christiaan, Nov 2 2009, 09:50 PM.

It's strange that I never saw this error message when testing the summon undead spell, though several people have reported it. Perhaps the error is being caused by another change that inadvertently affected the summon undead spell. As for the Sayomi dialogue, I don't know. I've never really messed with the claimants other than adding in the extra ones for the extra kingdoms. Perhaps there is something I need to change as well to make their dialog work correctly. |

Here is a strange one I found. The cattle follow me instead of having to herd them, which make it easier to move cattle. But then, suddenly well into a game, all the cattle were running away from me. Even when I tell them to hold, they start running from me again. This makes it close to impossible to do the "bring cattle to the army" quest. If I get a herd together then herd them the hard way to where the army used to be, but they are gone. The cattle will not stay where I put them while I look for the army again and I lose the whole herd. That sucks that I went to all that trouble to get these cows just to lose them because the army moved. |

Yeah that's a strange one. I don't know if that's a bug with my mod or native. I've never messed with that quest. I wonder if it's related to how sometimes when you click on a center you start moving away from it instead of towards it? |

This is not so much a bug as an interesting side effect. The chests act as stasis boxes. I killed a bunch of cows and put the fresh beef in the chest in my castle. Two weeks later they are still Fresh Beef! Now any cows I get I take to my castle, kill and put the beef away to use later. |

That's not a bad idea. I always avoided buying Fresh Beef simply because it would spoil too quickly. Especially if I had other types of food for my troops to eat. |

Ok, try this one. When I go into the tavern and exit by the door instead of tabbing out, all the townspeople are gone. If I tab out then choose "walk the streets" the people are back. This is during daylight hours.

The auto loot seems to be bugged. My companions will not take the shield if told to fill a slot with a shield. They will take off their boots or armor or helmet and not upgrade leaving them naked. Also one of them had a riding of 2 but was able to take a horse rated 4. |

Yeah, that's always been like that. I'm pretty sure it's the same way in native. But apparently no one ever leaves the tavern by the door, so it hasn't really been much of a priority to fix. ![]()
Yeah, I've always found that if you do absolutely nothing, they will eventually start equipping everything. But if you give them something awesome, they will almost always discard it in favor of something worse in the loot pile. And the boots....yeah. There is an improved autoloot source that also includes autosell, but I just haven't gotten around to implementing it yet.

how about this? When I get knocked out in a battle, it does not end. I know there is a mod for this so you getting knocked out is not an instant loss, and you can move around to watch the battle continuing, but I am still able to cast magic. I can throw fireballs, mass cure and raise the dead, but I am not able to move or attack in any other way. So even if I am unconscious, I can still keep healing everyone, kill any who get close to me and raise more skeletons to continue the fight. Also I noticed, once, but have not been able to repeat, I had journeyman fireball up, then selected a spell category that I did not have any spells in and hit select anyway to get out. Now I had the novice fireball up again which I wish I could do because the journeyman and master are way overkill for just killing one person, using up too much mana. |

Interesting...I did not know you could still cast spells while knocked out. It should be fixable though. Possibly by disabling the mouse buttons and other keys until the battle has ended.

And now, for something completely different. I see in the character report a listing for # times laid. Is that what I think it is, and does it involve Violet? What if you are female or demon or skeleton? |

In the post battle looting scene, I can only talk to the regular characters, not any of the new ones, the bartender, minstrels, and so on that I can recruit. |

If you use teleport underground in the dungeon, the game crashes and you have to Ctrl Alt Delete to close it. |

Yes, it is what you think it is and it does involve Violet. If you are undead, you can't flirt with her, but I think I added demons after I wrote the script and didn't update it for them. But who knows, maybe she's into that sort of thing...
Yeah you can't talk to them in the loot screen but they will still use the auto loot if you tell them to before going into battle. But as we all know by now, the autoloot is a bit buggy at times.
