Hi alls, I began a French translation for my personal use of this wonderful mod. When I finish it (and if I translate all the files) I will give it to the modding team and you can add it to the download (... or not). But at this time I just began it, so be patient ... I open this thread for help me to understand some terms I can't find in a dictionary ![]() so here are the first questions: 1/ about the factions ... a/ sway of Foment => is it like a sentence ? I can translate it like that, but what is the real name of the faction? Foment? can you explain me what is the spirit of what you mean with this? in French we can translate that by something like "Emprise Troublée" but for a faction it's s***k, so I search a better translation with your explanations b/ Valkyrie Kongerike => can you explain me what Kongerike means ? thanks for the answer see you soon |

Kongerike is Norwegian for kingdom (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/kongerike). Consequently the Valk. Kongerike would be the Kingdom of Valkyries. |

Sway of Foment is actually kind of a joke. Foment is an old english term that means to apply something warm, slippery or soapy. Sway means to wield power. So the name itself is a joke meaning the power of applying slippery liquid. It might not translate. It's a pretty vague joke in the first place. If I were to translate it, I would just call it the Kingdom of Foment, unless that sounds strange in french. I'd treat it as a proper noun. |
