With and entire year ahead of me I've taken it upon myself to do some exploring and have come to the conclusion that I can manage a site on my own. Actually it wasn't so much a conclusion as it was an epiphany. Considering computer information technology and computer sciences is my job and the Army's ability to cram three years of studies into a meager six months I can manage that on my own. On the plus side I've got access to the net and plenty of free time between shifts I can make this happen.

That leaves one question: what the hell am I upgrading? I don't know yet but with a year ahead of me I have to occupy my time somehow. That's what I plan on doing.

It's not the worst thing to happen, me thinks.

I've been talking with Lyndell, via Facebook, and we've came to some conclusions, or ideas.. or whatever you'd like to call them, and I liked most, if not all of them. I thought I'd be a good idea to give you guys the heads up (however many of you actually come back around here).

So, here's the shoot. Lyndell proposed that we turn AJA into more of a wider gaming fourm, and not so much just Final Fantasy based. Casue let's face it: We're all not raving Final Fantasy fanatics like we once were (or at least I'm not).

So, a new forum look is in order, and whether or not the name is being changed is still in question. Personally, I love AJA (although it makes no sense whatsoeer), but I'm sure I'll get over it if it has to be changed for the greater good.

Anyways. So, forums will be switiched around. Mind you this won't be taking place as soon as possible, but gradual changes will be made, and hopefully AJA will be more flourishing with forum activity than it is right now (casue we're all so active( [/sarcasm].

Well, I just wanted to give you the heads up.

After about 6 years, I'm finally calling it quits.

Not quits persay, but I won't be checking the forums as often as I used to. This is somewhat of a goodbye.

I'd like to thank all of the people I've come to consider friends.

I haven't been doing my part. At some point in time I forgot I was also an admin. So I'll be sprucing this place up with some news. I've started advertising on others sites now. I'm not looking for major improvements, via tons of members or activity, but a little hub where people can come and go as they please.

To start I'm adding new sections to the Kingdom Hearts forums and Final Fantasy VII. It's going to take some time considering I can't make the links active and Mel is exceedingly busy.

If anyone knows how to make a nice site banner that would be pretty sweet too.

I have 3 weeks off work elsewhere in the world, and I know the first week won't have any internet access, but I'm not sure about the other two weeks.

Do the rest of you like it? The white one was getting to me, and very boring after awhile. And besides, I like to switch things up every once in awhile. So with this being said, I'm going to go all about the place and fix this and that up. I'll be changing the names of most or some of the forums. Changing descriptions. Stuff like that.

As for the mainsite, which hasn't been touched since August/September, it'll probably stay that way until I have the time and patience to fix it. If someone esle would like to work on it, then PM me, and I'll give you the required information, but this is only for adminstrators. No one of any other level.

I'll aslo be updating the threads. Deleting some that haven't been touched in like a year, and so on, and so fourth. Just cleaning up, and whatnot. Mass cleanage. Mass emails will be sent to inactive members to see if they'll come back for a post or two. I would also like to point out that I am having a serious dejavu. Heh.

Another important annoucement: FFAJA will be hitting it's two year mark this up coming Feb. Gotta think of something big to do. But chances of it happening, are very slim.

Well, that's all for now, I think. If I miss anything then I'll come back.

P.S: Kik, one of the newest members will be given the responsibility of gaining and bringing Final Fantasy and Squarenix related news to us, and posting threads regarding it.

I changed some of the forums around in the the Final Fantasy section of things, just too make it less long, and large. Besides, when they're all meshed together like that, it makes it seem like it's more popular than it actually is.

But I wouldn't mind it if some of the Final Fantasy forums were brought to live. But I've asked that before, and NO CHEESE! But that's on one's fault. I haven't been putting my 100% into the forum either. But, it's still around, and I am thankful for that.

But yeah, I changed things up, and I still plan on doing so, so don't be surprised if you see some titles changed, or descriptions changed in any of the forum sections.

I was roaming the earth of Final Fantasy Aja, and I came too the realization that some threads and forums have not been posted in for quite the time... some of them coming up to about a year.. and it kind of surprises me that FFAJA has been around for that long.

I know that I've gone on about this for quite the time, but I could really use some good posts in the forums that have yet too be posted in. And right now, I have the grestest urge to post an advertisement in just about any forum that I can possibly find.. so I think I'll be going off to do that sometime in my summer career.

We need some help too keep more than the RPG side of this forum to stay alive.. and yeah, I'm going to try and fix that, instead of just giving up.
