Posts: 2,065 Group: Summoner Member #21 Joined: May 12, 2005	Yes, it's already in the works for Nintendo's Revolution, bolsters a larger cast than it's predecessor, and has an online mode to boot (finally). On that last bit we know Nintendo's online servicing will be free so I'm assuming it won't cost you anything to boot up and start playing people around the globe. The most important question; what new faces will make Nintendo's All Stars list and which one's will get the boot? Personally I'd kick out all sorts of Pokemon, except Mewtwo, The Ice Climbers, Dr. Mario, Young Link (pointless), and a few others. I'd like to see Megaman or Zero make the cut, even Meta Knight, Kirby's one time nemesis.

It they put Sonic they should put Metal Sonic or Super Sonic to. (this is my 300 post point yay)

Sega has no license or affiliation with Nintendo (the characters at least). And Sonic has not "ditched" Sega. Sonic is a creation and mascot for the company. Your friend needs new information. So it's highly improbable that they'll be seen. I wouldn't fancy the idea of seeing them in there anyway.

Sega is just a sub company for nintendo Xbox and PS2. So in any possible way nintendo can still have sonic or anyother sega chars in Super smash bros 3 cuz its still part of nintendo in a way.

They'd probably place some newer Pokemon into the game, but they may not. Who knows. They should throw in some other Zelda characters. They should stick with the Mario characters, and, prehaps...place a fresh face into the lot.

Sega is not a sub company for the console manufactuers; Sega is now a third party game developer. And Nintendo has no license for any of the Sonic characters so you will never see them in the game. Never.

Posts: 94 Group: Civilian Member #2 Joined: March 2, 2005	I wouldn't exactly say mis informed, I get my info from myself I've just noticed how sega stopped with the dreamcast and the new consoles seem to be using sega. There is a possibility that there will be some sega characters in SSB 3 because, well they were used in nintendo games before such as sonic heros. It may not happen but it would be cool.

So you may ask why Donkey Kong was in Super Smash Brothers. Answer. Until it was bought out by Microsoft Rare was a second party developer for Nintendo which means the company made Nintendo exclusive games. Yet Nintendo bought the rights to the character which is why he remains a Nintendo character. Nintendo has no rights to any of SEGA's characters or games. They publishe SEGA titles for their system. Despite the fact that SEGA stopped making hardware they are still developing games for all three consoles. In short Sonic will make no appearance in Super Smash Brothers 3. The only characters you will see are first and second party characters for Nintendo...
