Username: neogotchi By neogotchi Prologue A young boy sat at his keyboard, typing in his homework. 13-year-old Kyle Cleves was a solitary person, and preferred to stay to himself. He had jet-black hair and dark brown eyes, along with eyelashes that were longer than most people his age. Signs of adolescence were evident on his face, and his rather thick brows were no exception. He stood at the height of 5 feet 4’, and was as tall as his friends, who were at least one year older than he was. Since he was homeschooled, he didn’t associate with other people that much. However, he enjoyed writing, and used the computer quite often to write a few papers or stories. He was a Christian, and loved to talk to people about his faith. Kyle’s brother, Christian, had been working on a blog for a long time. He made it look like so much fun; Kyle wanted to start his own. Kyle snuck the Mother Website into his Parental Controls Internet Allow List, and began to work. Kyle had dreamed for an entire year about his own website. He wanted to talk about his favorite things on it and give cheats to various sites and their games. But now, it was all about to change. He felt like sharing the Bible with people online, and began to search for a proper name. First, however, he had to choose a username. The site server warned him that his username will be the name of his site, so he chose scripture4u. When he was allowed to start on his site, he enthusiastically started writing his ‘About Me’ page. Kyle decided to start off with a few more pages. In view of the fact that he was going through a one-year Bible Reading Plan, he chose to post his Plan for others to see. If they want to, they can ‘borrow’ and use it as long as they liked. He looked through his Bible for the dates and chapters, along with a title for each. There was also an every-seven-days review. After he finished writing the page, an idea for a ‘verse of the day’ came to mind, and he wrote it down. When he found that he can change his display name, he quickly typed in neogotchi. That became his trademark name. Then the journey began. |
