Well what exactly is this "stereophonic 3D?" I've heard things about it, but I don't completely understand why this is supposed to be so amazing.
Anyways, I'm excited to hear that this is being done, and that Spielberg is a big GitS fan. I'm curious though if they'll be basing this strictly off the manga, the SAC series, or the movies themselves. I personally favor the SAC series because we get to see more than just Kusanagi. I loved seeing the histories behind smaller characters like Saito and Pazou, and hope that all of Section 9 is left intact for this film.
