Viz Media is bringing "Death Note", the live action adaptation of the popular Manga and Anime, to US theatres for 2 nights only. The movie, along with an exclusive 20 minutes special feature on "how the manga translates to live action as well as the first-ever interview with Director Shusuke Kaneko", will show on more than 300 theatres, and then be released on DVD later this year, followed shortly by the sequel "Death Note: The Second Note". Rather than being shown with Japanese Dialog and subtitles the feature has been dubbed over by the current american cast of the anime licensed by Viz. Special preorder tickets were made available April 18-20 to subscribers of the Shonen Jump e-mail newsletter, but are now available to the general public. Check your local paper or "Fandango.com" to see if Death Note will be playing near you.
