I forget where I heard it, but a while back I heard someone talking about FOX. They said something along the lines of: Fox is the type of company that won't spend the money buying up the rights to something unless they have interest in making it. I can't remember what movie this was refering to, but I believe it may have been X-Men.

Either way I'm sure it still stands true. Fox is one of the leading motion picture companies, and if they own the rights to a franchise as big as Dragonball Z (which is pretty much the top selling anime of all time, unless of course thats changed) I'm sure they have some plans for it.

Like I said on the old forum my guess is 2008. It wouldn't be very smart in a business sense to release it this year (which is impossible) or in 2007.

In 2008 the X-men Franchise will be over, the Spider-Man Franchise will be over. And I know before I said that it could go up against the possible Superman Returns sequel but now the SR sequel is slated for Summer 2009. Most likely the sequel to Batman Begins will be in 2008. But Batman is WB. Fox needs something big to go up against Batman and Superman. What better to face off against good Comic Book Live Action Films, than a Manga Live Action Film.

It would be the perfect time for Fox to launch a whole new franchise. And I'm sure they know this.

MY PREDICTED RELEASE DATE:
JULY 4, 2008 or JULY 11, 2008

This way they can still workin the "7" angle with July being the 7th month.
