I still think he looks good. Everyone was worried that that guy would make an awful L but I like him! Light's actor is a little on the chubby face side compared to the real character but that's okay.
As for the spoilers....
Well personally if you're not paying close close attention and you haven't read it, then maybe you wont notice? xD I know someone scanned some pictures of this movie for the LJ community and those really showed stuff that shouldn't be seen if you want to be all surprised and whatnot.
