This is a thread where we can put down who we think should do the score for the film, what kind of score the film should have, and so on and so forth. Those that know anything about films know that sound is one of THE most important parts of a great film. And a great score can not only make or break a film. But allow it to withstand the tests of time, and become an epic. Personally I feel that an orchestral score would be the best decision for this type of film. A lot of people I've heard would want popular rock/pop music in it. But the problem with that is it dates the film. So in 10 years time the film will seem outdated. That's not saying there can't still be some heavy guitars to have a bit of rock feel. But just mixed in with an orchestra. Best example is the Tran-Syberian Orchestra. A good composed orchestral score accompanied by a great story and good directing, I think could elevate the Dragonball franchise to historical levels. Discuss. |
