The team of Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. Zimmer has shown the diversity you need. He can do the potent orchestrations typical of big blockbuster epic films (Chevaliers De Sangreal from The Da Vinci Code, most of Pirates of the Caribbean, Pearl Harbor), he can do beautiful, eloquent, and exotic scores (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Samurai, Black Hawk Down), dark and somwhat urban scores (Batman Begins), Disney and Disney-esque musicals (The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Madagascar), and your classics (Crimson Tide, Thelma & Louise, Rain Man, The Lion King again).

Danny Elfman has made some of my favorite scores of all time (Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish, Beetlejuice, and Edward Scissorhands), but he's been real hit-or-miss for me the past few years. Besides, he's best within the goth/fairy tale scene, and when he strays you get "not bad but nothing too memorable" like the Spider-Man score.

And John Williams has been a bit formulaic recently. Haven't heard anything truly memorable from him since Prisoner of Azkaban and maybe The Terminal.
