I was hesitant to watch this... 99% of webcam based self-shot videos tend to be cringeworthy and crap. This wasn't. Very good, very Boosh-esque.
Heh... Thank you for the compliment!

I agree with your statistical assessment -- most of the time, I have to hit ctrl+w within the first fifteen seconds of webcam based self-shot videos... It's just so painful, to feel embarrassed for them, to feel frustration at them for not doing another take or editing out lots of unwarranted dead air, to not be able to tell whether they're human because the resolution is sub-VGA in a room with a single 10W bulb and the mic sounds like it was placed on the other side of a small waterfall. The exception is when comedy is introduced -- I can suffer through self-deprecatory humor more easily in low-quality webcasts. As such, that's a part of the passive standard I generally employ when deciding whether something I create is watchable. If (a theoretical percent of) people can at least laugh at me and feel like the amount of laughter offsets the negatives they experienced by watching, then the webcast is OK by my standards. Still, I need to be watchful -- humor's dandy, but substance needs to be the underlying current to the comedic flow. :quite:
