Interview from April 2008 about the music of Avatar (television series)
-- Not that the above link has much to do with the movie (though there is a reference to it at the end of the interview, with information that's already known by now), but I just wanted to post it because I hope that they (Jeremy Zuckerman (music) and Benjamin Wynn (sound)) get to work on some part of the sound and music for the movie. I really enjoyed the music they put together for the series (the interview covers all of that and has .mp3 links to samples of lots of stuff). However, I suppose that the music and sound effects will be easy enough to replicate (at least in part) and translate (to a live-action scale) when Avatar transitions to the big screen. I'll be content if the movie retains some aspects of the music used in the series.
