I might as well not bother with the film's soundtrack when there will be so many more, better reasons to hate it. But anyway, it's one thing for a composer to collaborate with another musician on a soundtrack. Hans Zimmer did it with Lisa Gerrard for Gladiator, in my opiion the best soundtrack I've ever heard. It's wholly another thing for an alternative rock track to accompany an action sequence. It just doesn't work. If it's present in a musical montage, then fine, but it just gets in the way when it comes to continuity editing. That's just how I feel about it, anyway.
