If it's already been invested in, then surely they kind of have to make it. It'd be fraudulent not to, or is my knowledge of economic law sorely lacking? It wouldn't be fraudulent, rather expected. I believe the chairmen have the final say on the productions continuation and can scrap the production if they think it won't make any money. Its that simple. Its just a product which we now know, and they now know, shouldn't be produced even if they did invest millions on it already... which probably just went towards the talent, screenwriters, and director etc. Its not going to happen.
