How to make AMV; Using WMM.

First think is just because you know how to put audio/video and get it together, it desnt make you the best. It really takes experence and creativity. i have been making Amv for a while. i thought my self how to use Windows Movie Maker. Really its not hard. I always wondered how do there fans make these videos.(that was long time ago, and i was dbz fanatic, now just big dbz fan). ----Anyways gets get started (just learning basics can is good, everybody advances). :lol: 1. First thing you do is open WMM. Sometimes its hard to find it so to make it easyer, go to Start>search and search for Windows Movie Maker. After it finds WMM drag it to desktop or some folder that you want. When you open it there well be no audio or video there so you will need to import what you need to make your AMV. To import files go to file> import into collections. Browse and find your video/audio. After you are done with importing all of your stuff that you think you will need, then you can start making AMV(Anime Music Video). 2. Now that you have your video and audio you can drag song that you are planing to use and put it on the bottom where it says audio. Click on show time line so you can see everything you are doing. After your audio is in place you can start placing your video clips where you want them. 3. Every video that you imported has a seperate folder in Collections. You really just dont want to just add bunch of random clips over your audio. You wont make anything, its just going to be song with all there clips that dont make sience and done relate to the song. 4. Placing your video clips is not hard, this is the part where you have to be creative and make something that goes with audio. For example if you are making dbz music video, and in your clip trunks has just went crazy and in a moment he turns supersayn. To make this look/sound good you have to place that part in you sing where there is going to be a big boom or something like that, that will give goosebumps to your viewer.( that will make your video a lot better). (just a tip, in a video there can be a lot of different thing happening that will make audio and video combine). That is what you are trying to do, combine video with audio to make it as good as it gets. Every sound can make something in video look good. 5. Now that you know how to import video/audio and place them where they belond you will need to edit or add some effects or whatevery you need. One thing you will notice it when you play your amv just to test what you made, you will be able to hear audio from the video that is imported and you will be able to hear audio from audio(song). So you dont want goku and vegeta talking while you can also heard you song. To block audio from epesode(or just video) there is an icon. All the way on the left bottom you will see microfone, by microfone there is another one on the left, so click on that one and move it to audio. This will only play your song that you choose. Now you dont have to change that if you are doing something special and want to make something you want.( Like i said you have to be creative and make something that comes from your head/you ideas). 6. Now you want to add effects and video transitions. If you look above your imported videos there are 2 icons for effects and transitions. This is really easy to use. For example: you want to make your whole video white and black or just few clips. Just click on effects and find black and white effect. After you do drag it to that clip. If you want your whole video black and white you have to add that effect to every clip you have in your video. This goes some for transitions. If you want to remove effect or transition just right click on clip and remove it. 7. If you want to add credits or any letters in your video click on tasks. On #2 there are different ones you can use. Go to make titles or credits. And here you have at beginning or end or so. So lets do end credits.(click on end credits). Now you can type whatever you want. Play with that and click on change animation title. Now here you can change the way your credits will come. it can be from all different ways, just play with it and youll get it. After you are done you can change font and color. This can also let your text show over your video. So you can type something whole your video is showing. Then click done. it will place it self at the end but you came move it and do whatever. (play with that and try to figure more and more stuff you can do with it. 8. Ok i think i showed you 90% of it because you can never show everything. But now you want to save your amv and play it on Windows media player. Go to file and save movie file. (from there its eazy, just to tell you dont make your MB smaller it will mess up your quality of video and audio). This also help mess up quality on youtube.com When you save in recomended you quality wont go bad and on youtube.com it wont go bad.(at least not as much). --------------- i was going to have pic of everything i did but i anybody had any questions just pm me or make a post here.
