Uzumaki Naruto (15 years old) Naruto's New Personality: In the second part of the story, after a two-and-a-half year time skip, Naruto shows physical growth, sports a new outfit, and appears to not only have increased in strength, speed, and techniques, but intelligence as well. However, according to Tsunade, Naruto is also slowly adopting some of Jiraiya's perverted traits. During his apprenticeship under Jiraiya, Naruto was able to read the latest of the "Icha Icha" series written by Jiraiya, although when he presents a copy to Kakashi, he says he thought it was boring. It seems Naruto's feelings for Sakura have matured to a certain extent. They do not seem to be a child-like crush anymore. They have a very easy time communicating with each other, despite the nearly three-year separation. They are capable of having a casual conversation together, and they seem to like spending time together. Physical Changes: Naruto is now noticably taller than Sakura and some of his other friends. (In Part I, he is made fun of for being shorter than her.) He also has a completely new outfit, and most noticably, a new headband for Iruka's headplate to be on. New Abilities: Naruto has displayed a few new abilities since the start of Part II. Sometime during his training with Jiraiya, Naruto accidentally transformed into a four-tailed form of the Kyűbi without his remembering. In this form, Naruto loses all control of himself and cannot remember what happens during this state. He becomes an unrestrainable beast who attacks anyone he sees. Jiraiya claims that there were only two times in his lifetime when he nearly died – the first was an incident with Tsunade, the second time being when Naruto transformed into the four tailed state. During his battle with Orochimaru, he gets angry to the point of turning into the four-tailed Kyűbi. Orochimaru states that this form is powerful enough to actually kill him. Naruto has greatly improved his ninjutsu and taijutsu post-timeskip, as well as becoming a much better tactician. He managed to catch Kakashi by surprise during his second bell test, and even used Kakashi's obsession to Icha Icha Paradise to his advantage. Apparently, Naruto is starting to wield and become more skilled with weapons (other than regular kunai or shurikens), as seen in the Rescue Gaara arc. Naruto has also developed a new version of the Rasengan, titled the Odama Rasengan. Classified as an S-rank jutsu, the Odama Rasengan is a much larger and powerful version of the normal Rasengan. Naruto uses both his and his clone's hand to control it due its unstable nature. During his battle with Itachi (actually a clone of Itachi formed by the Akatsuki leader's Shoten no Jutsu (Shapeshifting Technique)), Naruto utilizes this new technique to defeat Itachi's clone. The Four-Tailed Kyuubi: The four-tailed kyuubi is the most deadly and altering form of naruto's sealed demon to date. Naruto gets coated ina dark chakra, making him look like the fox to quite a degree. Naruto's healing and self damage rate is now at such a fast rate hes almost dying and healing at the same time. He is now able to make it seem like his limbs are stretching, as shown in the fight with Orochimaru. What's more, the kyuubi can also create a massive beam of pure chakra by making a ball, eating it, and firing it, with DEVASTATING RESULTS! However, in this form Naruto cannot tell friend from foe, and wounded sakura with a wound that couldnt be fully healed by sakura or Kabuto. Picture of four tailed form: Romance: Naruto is still oblivious to Hinata's love, and his feelings for Sakura have matured somewhat, and even seem to be reciprocated, if you read into some things. Rivalry: well, nowadays his rivalry is with his new team-mate Sai. Yet despite their rivalry, they are developing into true friends. Other: It is when Team 7 was on the way to Sunagakure that Naruto told Sakura and Temari that the Kyűbi was sealed inside him. Sakura is initially a little surprised, but she sympathizes with him, as does Temari. As of current: Naruto is going to develop his own jutsu to defeat Sasuke, who he failed to retrieve, almost being killed by Sasuke in the process, and would have if not for the team effort under Naruto's current leader, Yamato. Okay, next time: Sakura, Sai, and Yamato.

His indifference to everybody stays true, as shown when he first meets Sai. Sasuke also displays a large amount of killing intent the very moment that Sai says he may be able to get along with him. Considering Sai's emotionless disposition, this is quite a feat. When Sai comments on how Naruto and Sakura have been searching for him, Sasuke once again regarded him with indifference. Sasuke has shown that he doesn't care what happens to himself, including giving his body to Orochimaru, as long as it results in Itachi's death. Friends/Romance/Etc.: All the bonds that Sasuke had are dispensed with, as the years with Orochimaru have confirmed his will to just have the one connection: to Itachi. His complete disregard for his former friends is displayed when he encounters Team 7 again (minus Kakashi), and makes remarks about the team, and Naruto's chances of being Hokage. Sasuke even goes as far as to point out that he no longer has any reservations about killing Naruto, and attempts to take his life. New abilities: Chidori Nagashi: Sasuke is shown to have greatly improved in his fighting abilities, as proven by his new jutsu, Chidori Nagashi (One Thousand Birds Current), which allows Sasuke to project a Chidori-like effect from his body, that can be used both defensively and offensively. Yamato takes a blow from the attack that was actually meant to be for Sakura. Sasuke uses the Chidori Nagashi to get around Yamato's defenses and pin him to a rock with his sword in Yamato's shoulder, and flows the Chidori Nagashi down the sword, numbing Yamato's body in the process as the electric-like chakra flows through his body. While Yamato and Sai are on the floor from being stunned by the Chidori Nagashi and unable to fight, Sasuke looks down to see Naruto crawling over to him in a sub- Kyűbi state with the eyes of the Kyűbi, deeper whisker-marks and claws and fangs. Sasuke is able to get into Naruto's mind and make contact with Kyűbi, much to the surprise of Naruto. Shockingly, the Kyűbi itself knew about the Uchiha clan. It appears that Sasuke can suppress the 9-Tailed Fox Kyűbi's chakra. The Kyűbi mentions an Uchiha Madara, saying that Sasuke possesses that same "cursed" chakra, which is possibly more evil than the Kyűbi's own. It also mentions that the eye-power of Sasuke's Sharingan is just like Madara's. Due to Orochimaru's clear influence on Sasuke (i.e. his clothes, weaponry, and attitude), he has likely adopted at least a few of Orochimaru's techniques. Sasuke now probably has a thorough grasp on jutsu involving snakes much like Anko, maybe even being able to summon Manda with his cursed seal in the same way that Naruto summon's Gamabunta with the Kyűbi's chakra. Due to Sasuke's "unnatural growth" it also seems very likely that he has learned a forbidden technique or two.
