Ok, so the college season is underway! yay!

Later today, we get to watch USC destroy arkansas : (

If McFadden hadnt been a typical...uhh...yall fill in the blank..but anyways, he got into a bar fight at 4 am in the parking lot (wtf was he doing there), and in the middle of kicking the guys ass, broke his toe. Anyone who follows the SEC or running backs in general knows McFadden is a beast after the performance he put up last year.

anyways, i think it would have been a close game with mcfadden, and if d*** (starting QB) hadnt gotten hurt. Would ARK have won? Probably not.

However, since both of them DID get hurt, im expecting a 20 point-ish win for USC. Not 53 again though.

I however, will be pulling for the good ol' U of A. Last time USC came in, we handed them their only loss of the season, and thus stopped their title dreams.

Wont happen again though.

In other news, TENN is playing vs. CAL right now. should be a good game.

Also, paul eels died : ( broadcaster for UofA. formerly was at iowa years and years ago, i think....he will be missed today...

EDIT: its USC 13, arkansas 7, and 10 (if not all, i forget) came off of 3 first half fumbles by felix jones. he hadnt been in contact drills since last year : (.

double edit: i stopped watching about the 4th quarter. i hate usc, lol.

but mcfaddens playing, yay

Texas will likely win, Ohio St. is number one for now but they gave up over 300 rushing yards to NIU.

AUBURN GOT PWNED ZOMG!!!

Guys, McFadden is a stud. Seriously. Its not even funny. I really do think that it will take a Claurett-like fall from grace to stop him. Or another bar fight : (.

But, yeah. Great day. Can't wait to see the new poll, if we havn't cracked the top 25, that will be really, really sad.

I love a winning environment though. Tis a good day when you can randomly bust out in the fight song and have others join you because we're doing GOOD for once.

Now that I've said this though, Ive probably jinxed the team, but who cares?

And yall prolly didnt see the game, but Arkansas pulled another High School trick. First, the swinging gate, and now this. Itll be on youtube soon, im sure, so ill post a link then.

Yeah Arkansas played a great game and upset #2 Auburn...thats impressive.

Iowa, nothing special in playing Purdue (unranked team) but played a great game and kicked ass in a 47-17 win and they went from #19 to #15.

Tennessee impressed me the most (my 2nd favorite team) and they played at Georgia (an undefeated team) and were down 24-7 midway through the second and finished the game kicking the sh*t out of Georgia 51-33.

So, with USC's loss, all WVU has to do to get in the big game is win out...

which will be a travesty if they do.

Then let's bring on the travesty.

I agree. While I do think it would be a travesty, I am also intrigued by the prospect of it.

doube post, blah blah blah, etc etc.

Key talking point: WVU vs. Louisville

5 minutes till halftime, and, one thing has been brought to my attention, beyond any shadow of doubt I had from not watching these teams play before:

They suck.

I'm more interested in reading 1984, and I'm at the bad part of the book.

Unranked Iowa (sucks) versus Wisconsin (Rather good). John Stocco Injured (Damnit his backup is 20 times better). End of the first quarter Wisconsin lead 10-0, about a minute left before halftime Iowa lead 14-10, halftime 17-14. End of Third 17-14, halfway through 4th Wisconsin 24-14, Iowa scores 24-21. Iowa had 2 drives within the last 5 minutes and on the last it was 4th and 7 and Tate throwes to Dominque Douglas he is wide open for about 15 yards or so, he drops it (after 2 drops by Scott Chandler TE) about 10 seconds left Wisconsin ball. Its over Wisconsin won 24-21.
