You guys are about to so love me. Due to constant requests, and my constant contempt for pirated footage, I have finally found a worthwhile tutorial that can let you use DVD footage in Windows Movie Maker. The tutorial itself is very technical and quite confusing, as well it ties in the basic tutorial for DVD ripping applications in general which took me a full week to finally understand properly. Because of this I will, over the next few days, put together a user friendly, step by step instruction tutorial for you guys so even the most technically inept can use this method. Prepare yourselves!

Stryyder

PS - I am going to lock all threads asking about this topic, since I now have this one.

Me too. I might finally be able to make an AMV. Be warned though Stryyder, I will probably redefine what you think of as "technically inept".

Cool, thanks :D

Btw, Shanks, an easier way to take the sound off of your clips is just to right click the clip and press 'mute' I would have said before, but your thread had been locked ^_^

Well you would have to do that for every clip.
If you want your audio from video to be mute just click on the icon all the way to the left by clips and move it to audio.(which mean, you will only be able to hear the song you wanted to use).
