It's that time again. Only a handfull of weeks left in the 2007 nfl season and as always I will put the playoff picture up, as it stands week to week. In other words, if the season were to end now and go into the playoffs, this would be the playoff picture. This is before the NE/Bal game but that won't affect it either way.

AFC Leaders
East - New England Patriots 16-0 - yz*
North - Pittsburgh Steelers 10-5 - y
South - Indianapolis Colts 13-2 - yz
West - San Diego 10-5 - y

NFC Leaders
East - Dallas Cowboys 13-2 - yz*
North- Green Bay Packers 12-3 - yz
South - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-6 - y
West - Seattle Seahawks 10-5 - y

AFC Playoff Brackets

NFC Playoff Brackets

Divisional

I'll be back in a week or two with my predictions. Wanting to see how my Wild Card ideas flesh out a bit longer

EDIT: Uh, never mind. Not gonna touch this with a 10ft pole.

As tends to be the case the NFC picture has skewed again, since the records are so close. As well, a good half dozen AFC teams are gonna be tooth and nail for wildcard spots until the end of week 17.

Only one week to go and it is still pretty close. the top 4 of each conference is pretty much set. The 2 wildcard AFC spots are being well contested and there is one left for the NFC as Philly and Dallas decide the division champ this coming week.

I watched Dallas and Green Bay...and I saw a beat up injured Packers team edge the "best team in the NFC" I honestly believe that when the packers heal up and it the playoffs and if they meet up with Dallas again, green bay will win. I dont think it matter if it is in Texas stadium, Green Bay D will be healthy and ready to go and hopefully it will be Cold :) .
Shonn Greene - 1,850 rushing yds 20 td's (Doak Walker Award winner, All American, Big Ten MVP)

Iowa Hawkeyes to look for in 2009
Pat Angerer - Linebacker - 107 tackles
Derrell Johnson Koulianos - Wide Receiver - 639 yds 3 td's
Jewel Hampton - Runningback - 450 yds 7 td's (backing up Shonn Greene)

It will be the Patriots and Packers in the Super Bowl, with the Patriots taking the win.
