Night Shift Admin Posts: 2,067 Group: Admin Member #17 Joined: April 16, 2006	Speed Racer Production to Begin in May (02/15/2007) Production on the live action Speed Racer film will begin this May at the Babelsberg Studios in Germany. As stated before on LAA the film will be produced by Joel Silver and Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn is still set to play the part of Racer X in the film. Speed Racers release date is set for May 23, 2008. Source: Anime News Network
