Night Shift Admin Posts: 2,067 Group: Admin Member #17 Joined: April 16, 2006	Well it looks like Susan Sarandon and John Goodman might be playing the part of Speed Racer’s parents in the upcoming live action Speed Racer movie. The Associated Content has reported that they are currently in negotiations with the actors to play the part of Speed’s mother and father in the upcoming film. Also it looks like Andy and Larry Wachowski are currently looking for actors to play the parts of Speed’s girlfriend, Trixe, and Racer X. What really sticks out here is that it was previously reported that Vince Vaughn was going to be playing the part of Racer X but now it looks like the Wachowski bothers are looking for a new actor to play the part. Playoff Mutton Chops Posts: 6,212 Group: Head Admin Member #8 Joined: April 9, 2006	Hm, sounds interesting. Also kind of surprising Vince Vaughn won't be playing Racer X anymore, oh well though. I'm kind of blanking on Speed's mom right now. Was she ever even shown in the series, or was she always just kept in the background?
