Square-enix will make the impossible possible, final fantasy 7 is coming to the PS3. While I'm waiting on official sources, the newest preview disc playing at Gamestop states that FF7 remake on the ps3 will be a reality.

Every week or 2 they get a new disc to play on their tvs with upcoming game trailers. His new one for apr. 30 had that video on it with a claim that they are going to be making the game. Like I said, I can't give a 100% assurance till I hear it in a Sony press release.

It didn't say anything on the disc that it was a remake. That and the guy was pretty full of it, he mysteriously vanished from the Gamestop crew quite soon after (probably cause he spent his entire work day behind the counter playing pokemon).
