Although, they may have 18 wins but guess what....they don't have 19, lol. Sorry, couldn't resist. They played a good game, they just didn't pull it off. Pretty much. I remember when PITT went 15-1 reg season and then crashed out...was pissed about that for probably way too long. Oh well

Like you said, other than Welker and Faulk breaking through a couple of times, the Pats didn't really go anywhere. What I love is how Bellichicks karma came back to do him in. He decided to get picky about the Giants having 12 men on the field and spent the rest of the game watching his team give up silly penalties like false starts.

They got pretty luckly, what with a new coach and Ben coming off a horrible season in 06. Hopefully Tomlin will streamline his coaching technique and Ben and Troy will let their injuries heal. We'll see how the first few games go.

We'll see how the first few games go. Next year's schedule looks really tough... I know it was only Tomlin's first year, but I'm worried that last season's record was a result of soft schedule and inheritence of a good team. I mean, we lost to the Jets, Broncos, and Cardinals...and the Jaguars twice at home. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I don't like the way Tomlin has handled the team so far...so maybe things will shape up as time progresses.

Last 2 times they were in the Playoffs with a divisional or conference spot they bombed out. Yet 2 years ago they took it all the way with a 6th seed spot.

I'm not so sure he should have been there with all those All-Stars. BUT I may just be biased, because I like Brady Quinn better.. but I think DA performed the worst of all the QBs there... maybe its just me though...
