Kami Posts: 5,113 Group: Members Member #283 Joined: December 10, 2006	I know there used to be a promote your website thread on here, but it was taken down I also understand by reading the forum rules that such promotion will now get you a 25% warn, yet in your profile section there is a place to put your website or homepage address to promote it. Contradictory? What I would like to know is, 1) what prompted this change of heart and 2) I notice some members have links to sites in their sigs. Is this a permissible way to let people know you have one as most members probably don't check user profiles anyway?

I Don't Love You I'm Just Passing The Time Posts: 6,803 Group: Global Moderator Member #4 Joined: April 9, 2006	weve always had that in profiles, and a sig banner to advertise or small piece of text inserted is okay if it doesnt disturb the peace. simply, cause its not TAKING UP USELESS SPACE thats pretty much it, so its fine to use, just dont make threads about your website and its fine. though working around the rules to post aobut it in little known facts can be done if youre cunning like me. either way, question answered!
