People like me were disappointed at Pirates because the plot was a mess. Anyways, I kinda dislike a totally different thing than Vegeta in Transformers. I actually think that Michael Bay CAN'T do action scenes. Yes, that's what he LOVES to do, that's what he always does, but I just don't like how he shots action scenes like the cameraman is having a seizure. They are really hard to follow.

On the other hand, I surprisingly liked some other "dramatic" moments of the film. For example, when Bumblebee is captured by Sector 7. He shot that scenes with great angles and he cut off the sound leaving only the music which was really good for adding emotion to it.

I thought that the action scenes were great in this movie. I couldn't get enough of them!

Dang, I must be one of the only people on here who liked PotC3.

Here's my personal short review

I think Transformers was pretty good, better then I expected.

First of all because it was never boring and the two hours and a half didn't look that long...

The plot was maybe not always that logic but you know what...it did show very realistic wasn't it? That's why I loved it...

ok,
personally I think that little robot who hijacked the airforce one was acting too silly to be convincing...and the scene where the autobots were at Sam's house to search for the glasses was maybe a little over the top(altough it was pretty funny..)

I was positively surprised that the humor was good and didn't made the film silly...the cameos of Berny mac and that other black actor brought a fine touch to this movie that didn't brought it out balance..

And I must say, normally I'm not a fan of over the top special effects but this time man...I watched the part where they fought in the streets at the end with my mouth open...damn this was really nice done...and it sucked my into the action. It was a long time agon that I really appreciated action scenes and I really was scared in withwicky's place when he had to run to the rouftop of that building.(the running camera angels were nicely done)...

hehe i'm not finished,

I found Optimus Prime well presented(as for how good I knew him from the cartoon)...I don't know about giving him more dept...he had some good arguments with his other autobots. remember when he spoke about the human race with Jazz(I think it was Jazz..)? I liked the argument that he had with Jazz about why not leaving the human race on his own instead of protecting them. This was exactly what I wanted to hear...

Also the last words of optimus prime sounded good to me. This is what the Transformers were...they stay on earth..waiting for someone to hear them and in the mean while watching over the human race. Perfect.

So if you ask me, sure perhaps they could have done things better at some points, but the reason why it was a good movie to me is that at the end I believed it, that eventually the story was build up in a way that I did bought it, which I didn't expect to do with Transformers...

So Transformers was one of the few movies this year that was worth every cent of my cinema ticket ;)

It's all part of the great circle...good is connected with evil...strength with weakness...understand this matter and prevail(Kami San)

Well, this summer has basically sucked when it comes to movies. Spiderman 3, Fantastic 4 and the last Pirates all were disappointing (specially Spiderman 3...what a way to ruin a great franchise). I actually rank Transformers as the second best summer movie I've seen so far, just behind Live Free or Die Hard. However, I have yet to see Ratatouille which might definitely change that.

Pirates 3 was an awesome movie despite it's running time, why would say it was a terrible movie, the action was good, the humour, it;s just that were scenes that was unessecary like when Jack had the two hookers in the end and they had a little slapping brawl, if this movie didn't make u laugh or say "sweet" then something is really wrong, I hate it when people get movie reviews and points out the littliest flaws in the movie, and say the movie was terrible, Robert's reviews are sincere, he presents evidence to support his input, not just saying the movie sucked 1.5/5 and claim they could do better and have no movie experience at all, those type of movie critics, are the lamest
