Do you guys think that Transformers was aiming for the little kiddies out there? Or do you think that it was aiming at the kids (now teens and adults) who grew up watching it?

I'm asking because there was a thread that someone posted on IMDb that kind of pissed me off. This person was basically saying that he/she was disgusted with the language and innuendo that was said in a movie that was pretty much for kids...

And then, there were people that actually agreed saying "This is a movie based on toys- how is it not aimed for kids?"...

:badwords:

I got a little peeved at these people, so I wanted to know if I was right in being peeved, or if I am easily excitable... :ninja:

(BTW, I also posted this in the movies section, so if a Mod or Admin could, please delete it ^_^ )

Vindictive

2) intended to cause anguish or hurt: (SPITEFUL)

I think it was ment for a younger group, but not for kids. It was alot of slang and 21st Century refrences.

I mean, who would want there kids intruduced to Jazz, when his first words were, " What up little Bitches!"

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, brief sexual humor, and language.

Not for kids!! PG means parental guidance which means you decide if the content is alright for you or your kids ( in this case, teens) to see and you discuss the content with your kids after to make sure they understand what went on. No, you are not wrong for being peeved off. The audience has fair warning of movie content before they buy a ticket! You know whats in it by reading that one sentence. If you go anyway and then biatch about being offended, it's your own fault because you already knew before going in. Everyone is so over-sensitive these days the we've turned into a bunch of whiners and awsuit happy idiots!
