I don't know about you, but I really enjoyed transformers. It is by far my favorite movie ever ( maybe because I love transformers in general). But if you saw the ending of the movie, Starscream left out the atmosphere and they are planning on making a trilogy So what do you want to see in the next movie? Here are a few things Soundwave and Shockwave introduced Prime's trailer introduced Megatron be rebuilt into Galvatron Unicron be the main villain in the last film Jetfire introduced a rebuilt Jazz the Death of Optimus Prime in the sequel and his return in the last. |

I think death and rebirth of prime could be interesting, with an introduction of Hot Rod/Rodimus. Unicron would be great, but they would have to do a lot of work to make it good. I liked the movie personally, but as a TF fan I definitely wish it would have been more about the Robots, less about Sam/Spike. Hopefully they do that in the next volume, as that is the biggest criticism going around right now. |

Well, since it was only the first movie, I kinda expected that the robots wouldn't be in the film that much, since they had to introduce them and all. I expect a lot more character development for the Transformers in the sequel. |

as do i, and i hope they bring megatron back for more than five minutes in some of the next films, cause man, he did crap all, i expected more chaos than what i saw. |

I think the sequel should be about the matrix of Leadership. Starscream can be looking for it, and the only person who knows is Megatron. They can be in his spirit or spark form, and now they are trying to find Megatron's body, and by the end of the movie they kill Prime, and they realize Prime is the holder of the Spark, and Unicron is coming to earth. |

Just a warning, before someone gets all excited. Michael Bay has a forum of his own called "Shoot for the Edit" (I love that!) and he posted on there that he wouldn't be directing T2. This was in response to Paramounts decision to only release Transformers on HD-DVD and not Blu-Ray. He then posted later, after the noise died down that THIS WAS NOT TRUE! He posted this at like 1:30 in the morning, no doubt after a long day and a couple of drinks. He was only expressing his disappointment at not having his film released in both formats. Don't worry, he is looking forward to beginning the sequel soon. (also have seen rumors of T3 on the drawing board) BTW: on September 21, Paramount will be re-releasing Transformers to the theaters in IMAX with additional footage not seen in the original release. I wanted to see it in IMAX to start with, but this will do just nicely. If you haven't seen it yet or want to see your 'bots life size, check it out. |

Did you not read the post? I was trying to stop a rumor before everyone says "Oh Noes, he not directing the sequel!!" He said on his website that since hr was upset about the blu-ray release, he wouldn't be directing the sequel to Transformers, then he said he was joking and he looks forward to directing the sequel soon . Also hints on the site about a third movie as well. I used T2 and T3 cuz I didn't want to type out Transformers a bunch of times. :rolleyes: this just confirms the fact there will be a movie two and three and that you can visit his web forum to get more info on the movies and others he will direct. DUH!!! |

They're planning a trilogy.. woohoo!! I loved the first one.. I wanna see Bumble Bee come back!
 The Death and Rebirth of prime is an awesome idea. I'll stand by this movie series no matter what! XD I just hope they atleast have some cover songs from the original transformers movie!
