About Me:

Okay, I first joined the forum quite soon after TDP. Problem was, I went on Holiday the next day. When I got back, I had forgotten about the website lol. About a month later I found it on My Favourites and decided to get back to it.

I posted my first fanfiction, Dragonball ZT which pretty much sucked. I always looked up to 'SKJTapion' AKA Jake and Rjxsapri because they were just awesome. I have grown to admire many people on this forum, each for different qualities. Now I also have a half decent fanfiction, that people read. [Not many people read...]

I support Liverpool FC, and I play quite a lot of football and rugby. Well I did anyway, but my leg broke last month and it still kinda kills. Not moving around so much now. :(

I hate Sony and the Playstation consoles, [Have my reasons. :ph43r:] and am a great fan of Nintendo. I really like watching anime and reading manga. My favourite anime series right now is FMA and my favourite anime film is Grave of the Fireflies.

If there's anything anyone wants to know about me, don't be afraid to ask lol.

That was me. Well. Only one thing I can say in response to that.

:animesweat:

Well, here's me now.

Age: 16
Location: London, England.
Education: 10 GCSEs. In the process of doing my A-levels. I'm taking English Literature, Media Studies and Film Studies.
Talents: I can play the Piano, Guitar and Drums. I'm not all that advanced in playing the guitar but I'm confident in the piano and drums.
Hobbies: I swim, play tennis, play football, and enjoy clubs and stuff. I've stopped Rugby, because of potential danger to my leg.
Points of interest: I don't really follow football any more, I've basically dropped out of sports. The only reason I still play is that I like to exercise and release my stress.
I broke up with my last girlfriend a few weeks ago, she was fairly crazy (and clingy).
My friends call me superficial, which is true. Not to the point of arrogance or being mean but perhaps to the point of having bad first impressions of people.
I'm also one of those grammar freak people. If someone says something that is grammatically incorrect, then I'll either laugh at them or correct them.

E.g. "Ahhh mate! I saw her fell in a bush!"
"Moron. You switched your tenses."

I think I'm freakishly tall, but it might be because I've got friends the same age as me who are around 4'9".
I watch anime and read manga, but my choices are definitely more varied now.
My favourite anime is currently... Well... I don't actually know.
My favourite manga is currently Mx0, which Noodles unknowingly got me hooked on.
I own both a Wii and Xbox 360, but still play my Playstation 2. I like to think that I've moved forward from my irrational fanboyish hate of Sony- even though it was partly deserved on their part.
My favourite videogame of all time is probably Resident Evil 4: Wii edition, or perhaps Super Smash Bros. Melee. (These might change when I play Smash Bros. Brawl. Woooh.)
I don't really have a favourite TV show right now, but meh.
I don't really have a favourite movie either, but if it helps, the last film I saw was Juno- which was very good.
I don't really have a favourite book either. I think I need to read more.
My favourite poem is William Blake's "London", which I think is both sinister and beautiful. So many levels to it...
I've recently moved on to a stage where I look upon my old pieces of writing and feel ashamed and embarrassed. So now I make it my business to improve my writing style all the time. Which is helpful, considering that I hope to be writing for a living after I earn my degree in journalism. (Which I will apply for, SHANNARO!)

So.

At first, I thought it said "twitched your senses".

then I was like... What the crap does fell in a bush mean? Is that some sort of sexual slang? :doesntgetit:

Doesn't time age you?

Is that a rhetorical question?

Is this a rhetorical declarative.

Freddy Krueger, therefore, is sexy.

He is indeed. He's at his sexiest when Kelly Rowland's nose is cut off.

Fairly good. I've got targets of As for each of my subjects, and my mocks are this week.

It'll be scary and hectic from here on. But as Media and Film are piss, I'm only concerned about English Literature.

What texts are you doing in Media and Film? I just did my Media Studies Prelim today, so it could be interesting to compare notes.

In Film Studies we're working on the 'swingining sixties', so we have to show textual analysis on Alfie and A Hard Day's Night. (There's another film there, but we haven't seen it yet.) And in my AS Film class we're working on Dirty Pretty Things. Fun, Fun, Fun.

It's quite bad that I can't actually remember the texts for Media Studies, but to be fair: we haven't really had any exam preperation yet...

How about you?

I'm taking Media Studies at Intermediate 2 level, so it's fairly straightforward. For a film, we're doing Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which, strangely, I don't find funny so much as faintly disturbing. For non-fiction, we're doing The Sun newspaper, which is not-so-faintly disturbing. Additionally, we have a media production unit, where two other blokes and I are making a videogame magazine called "7th Generation", and I get to cover Metal Gear Solid 4, which is BRILLIANT fun.

Would you rather get hit by a bullet, paintball pellet, BB or rubber pellet?

I would like to be hit by a real bullet, but in the arm. Just to know what being shot feels like.
