Ocean or Funimation dub; Which do you prefer?

Autobot Posts: 809 Group: Members Member #925 Joined: September 13, 2007	I don't care what everyone says, my first memories of DBZ are with the Ocean dub, and that's where I'm putting my vote =] The original Piccolo and Vegeta were much better and less constipated than the Funi dub. But I will say that both are a million times better than the original Japanese dub. Goku sounded like a girl :/

The Saiyan of hope Posts: 6,416 Group: Members Member #16 Joined: April 15, 2006	When I started watching Dragonball on the WB back in the day, it was the Ocean Dub. I don't think I was too into it, just watching bits and pieces and to see what it was. When CN got it for the Toonami block, though. I started to give it more attention. I started to watch the Funi dub, and I just loved the voices. It was a big fighting show back in the day, and I think the voices really fir the characters.

Hearing it with other voices is almost like hearing Batman the Animated series with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.(accept the voice actors for DB were'nt as talented) p.s. This is my 1,111th post!
