Bullets rip roaring through the night
just another fire fight
so the people, the shut their doors and hide

and the people at the top
with their champagne making it pop
listening only
to the numbers on their screens
4,021 dead
all by a bullet through the head
and they sleep so soundly late at night

well cigars and truffels and wine may do
to make better all things done by you
but only to cuddle your f***ing hearts

Ive seen all the things that youve done
and all the ways that you have won
by stepping
over the poor, the down, the brave
and this is how it ends for now
a world made fit for none but thou
the world remains as you think it should

(instrument stop except rolling bass)
and here we are, with instruments and hearts
trying to stop you... before you start.
