I know I do. Now imagine if Super Mario Brothers and Castlevania somehow had a child. That would be this game! Super Mario XP. It shares the basic storyline of Super Mario Brothers. The Princess gets Kidnapped by Two Hammer Brothers. (Working for Koopa I bet.) Not much of a backstory. The gameplay is amazing thou. You start out with 5 Lives ( Beats the 3 lives you got with The Original.) You run through the first level. Hitting blocks to gain power ups. Most of the blocks are heart stocks. When you get a weapon. The heart stocks act as ammo. http://www.acid-play.com/download/super-mario-xp/ Controls Jump - Shift Fire - Alt Also to go full screen. I'm a big NES fan and this morphed two of my favorite games together. Super Mario and Castlevania. I liked the Item/Weapon System. I love the hammers you get in level one. The Fireballs look really good too. The heart stocks as ammo was just pure genuise. I've ventured through the first level. The end boss of level 1 was complicated for a while. Until I got the hang of it. Jumping repeatedly on The Gomba thing kills it. Only thing I didn't really like about it was the small screen. (This can be fixed. Go into your Config.ini file. Goto the fullsc part. Make it look like Fullsc=1 Simple fix. :P) The gameplay was awesome. I played it for an hour. Even thou I didn't get passed the second level. I kinda wished there was an option to change the controls or a 2 player mode. Playing as Mario is fine with me. All around good game. I love the music the most! =D
