Has anyone else noticed the parralels between Dragonball Z, specifically the Majin Vegeta bit and the whole situation with Sasuke? It follows a similar line. Vegeta is a...well...reasonably good guy early on, then he see's all these super-powered Majin villains, gives himself over to evil becoming Majin Vegeta and more than doubling his power, fights his allies, in the end he has redemption by dying fighting against Majin Buu. Sasuke is a good guy earlyon, then he gets the Curse Seal and later see's all these super-powered villains - the Sound 4, gives himself over to evil by going with them, fights his allies which he did just recently. Since I think there's a good chance of Sasuke redeeming himself and not being killed off as just another villain, I reckon it'll be when he tries to redeem himself by killing Orochimaru. I just feel if he killed Itachi it'd be too cut and dry story wise - Guy wants revenge, guy gets it but is still evil I don't like so I reckon some redemption by - at least trying - to kill Orochimaru will happen. Thoughts? And please don't flame too badly...first theory

I still ahven't watched anything in Naruto past the forest of death in the Chunin exam anyway. You should, the Sasuke Retrival Arc is good. Oh and if you do, after you watch the Sasuke Arc, skip straight to Shippuden, cause its nothing but fillers for the rest of Naruto. And yes, I think that Sasuke will sacrafice his life to save everyone in the end, just like Vegeta. Only, he won't come back. Though Vegeta and Sasuke are two characters who are nothing a like, except for the colors they wair, and the desire to be better than the main character.

But even the sucky manga (sucky compared to other volumes anyway) is better than the Anime. The Shippuden anime blows. The first few episodes are good, but then it steadily becomes worse. And as Noodles says, Kishi was influenced by Toriyama a hell of a lot. That said, I think that it's safe to assume a large part of this theory is accurate. I'd prefer death of Sasuke though.

Exactly. Kishi even said he was inspired by dragonballz. And look at naruto as the main character, he resembles goku's personality so much, with that being kind of stupid but then suprising everyone type character.
