Super Saiyan Posts: 2,711 Group: Members Member #166 Joined: July 5, 2006	Sorry, I had on caps lock. Anyways, I have an idea for a gfx competition like no other. It will be like a "Forum History" type thing where the gfxers take famous former/current sigs/pics/whatever from the members and make a wallpaper or just a fancy collage. It could be for our 5 year reunion in August and they can start as soon as this gets approved (if it does lol). We can have the members post up their most famous avvy/s and/or sig/s. The members can add more than 1 so that all the end results don't look exactly the same. That means the gfxers can only use 1 or 2 sigs/avvys from that member. And for members who are innactive, we can TRY to dig up their old sigs. Like Marrcio's old Dr. Strangelove sig for example. What do you guys think? You have any questions, feel free to ask. Oh and it doesn't only have to be sigs and avvys either. It can be famous pics used like the "Confused Asian Guy" Coven used to post or the Vegeta holding the Dragonball that member Vegeta uses against Actor lol. Or former banners, whatever. Like our forum's inside jokes and such. And it can have our forum name on it, with "5 years" or something like that.

I can supply some old sigs/avys from the Proboards and possibly the old Invisionfree forum. No matter what we need to use Del's "original picture in this. :lol: So I'm guessing we'll be voting on the best collage of all these things? One thing I do ask though is that we use a couple current things in this too. We don't want newer members to feel totally left out.

All they have to do is post the image/s. About the voting, maybe you guys can add in a prize or something. Or maybe have it as the forum's wallpaper for a few days. Something to get people to want to participate. And maybe, just maybe, we can try to contact some of the GFX veterans like BB and Rider to compete.

I know Rider and I still have most of ours on the computer somewhere. This is an interesting idea. I'd probably put in something here. We'd need to put Goshin's Kenshin/Hakusho in there somewhere. Maybe someone can find Flea's old Chronotrigger sig too. I'd have to add in something about Dansle's old Weird Al pic, see if anyone remembers it.

The one with Weird Al with the suit and shades, lookin' like a rapper. And yeah, I agree about Flea's sig too, hopefully it's not lost. I still have my staff position on the old forum so I'm able to log in/out whenever I please. I'll go check it out for good material. If I can't find anything good, there's always this website: http://web.archive.org/web/*/dbzlivemovie.proboards18.com Anyways, this is how we can do this if/when you all have agreed to it: you guys go ahead and make an announcement forumwide. Make a thread in General and sticky it for people to add their pics. When members go to add, they can add as many as they want, they just need to specify which ones are theirs and which ones are from other members (who may not be here, like Marccio or BlackCoven for example). Then, like I said, the artists can pick only 1 or 2 pics per member to add to the collage/wallpaper. You guys can decide on a prize. Again, my suggestion is to let the winner have his/her collage as the forum wallpaper/background for a few days. That's just my suggestion though lol. Anywyas. I give you the idea, now once you've all agreed, make it happen. So that people have plenty of time to dig up old things and artists have enough time to plan out what they want to do and create a masterpiece. And maybe if you guys try to contact some of the old gfxers, this may bring more life back into that area of the forum, not to mention the forum as a whole.

We also need to find Jake's "I'm too Punk Rock For This" button. If we go ahead with this, I'll ask Goshin to take that board off maintenance mode, since he's the only admin from there that's still around.
