Ok, this was inspired by the other thread in which folks complained about just a handful of basically the same members getting nominated for things or added to polls, etc. So I compiled a list of members to help with our feeble memories when it comes to such things. The criteria for the list was this: All these members had to have logged in and posted between June 1, 2007 and present (the last year). They had to have had two or more posts (to include the newbies). It was surprising how many had shown resent activity (logged in within the last two months). It turned out to be quite a list. 220 active members in the last year! Actually 219 as Tlaloc = banned and I also took into account a couple of members with duplicate accounts (Admins). If there are any more let me know and I will fix the list. (Floofy, are both those yours?) The stats look good on this as well. A lot of members showed recent activity (at least a log-in) and I found something really cool. Everyone has logged in at least once in the last two months on this list. About 90% in the last month and of that group at least 75% in the last week! This shows that a lot of members are visiting and logging into the board, but unfortunately only about 25% are posting. If we could get these visitors to post when they come, that would be cool. That would make a very busy board indeed. Anyway, without further ado, I present you with the LAA Class of 2008! Interesting...But i can understand why they dont post, same reason i cant post AS MUCH as i want to, most of my post's are forced...There's just not too many interesting topic's anymore. It could change tho. |

Why does he scare you? (Outside of the obvious
 )I combined Floofy's old and new accounts like RJ's. It's not just the newbs that don't post. It's a lot of our older members as well. A lot of them have logged on, but don't post. Even Coven checked in last week and that's an island we haven't heard from in a while. We've been getting back quite a few absentee members lately and I think we may get more back over the summer. I know a lot of members are still in school or college and their studies take priority over the winter. Stryyder is right though. We need to be a bit more creative about making threads to encourage posting. Look at the list and see if you can remember things your friends who haven't posted in a while used to like talking about and maybe start a thread based on that. They may not be able to resist leaving a comment. Just a thought. |

That's the reason I took so long to get active on here. I was scared I'd say something and people would either tear me apart, not think it's funny/interesting, or completely ignore me. I don't really care anymore ^.^ |

There are worse things than getting ignored on here. Lol! I figure if they do, it's their loss. I do know what you mean though. Some of our members on here are *ahem* strongly opinionated and if your going to join you kinda have to learn to stand up for yourself and not get all immature and flamey about stuff. This shouldn't keep people from joining though, I hope. Most of the newbs get the hang of it in no time. |

You are quite right D. But there is one case that is an excepetion. And that is with GT and Kuhan. Kuhan tirggers an agrument with GT and then they are off to the races. and i also agree that u need to learn to stand up for slef in this fourm or u won't get very far |
