So, I have some Anime DVDs that I want to rip to my computer to make some AMVs.

So, do you guys know any good DVD Ripping Software?

Thanks a bunch!

try Fair Use Wizard. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/FairUse_Wizard
it works well for me. pretty easy to use too.

ahem... :faceofsomekind: it's not freeware but.. :ermm: ^o) :faceofsomekind: you know... there are many places where to look for it
Omnia enim stolidi magis admirantur amantque,
inversis quae sub verbis latitantia cernunt,
veraque constituunt quae belle tangere possunt
auris et lepido quae sunt fucata sonore.

Indeed, the stupid most admire and love all
that is scarcely discernible, hidden by abstruse words,
and accept as true all things that sweetly caress
the ear, and that are masked by a pleasant sound.

That's quite simple, and free, actually.

Are you editing in Adobe Premier? Cause that's the easiest for what I'm gonna give you, but if not, you can find various Tut's around for other programs.

Anyways, go to Animemusicvideos.org. Go to the "How To" section (or I think they have a downloads section too). In the How To section you will find a bunch of tutorials, what you are looking for is "Ermac and Absolute Destiny's Guide to making AMVs" or something like that. It contains tutorials on how to make amvs all the way from ripping footage to exporting your final project (though most are geared toward Premier as I said). In that tutorial you will be linked to a program call the "AMVApp". It contains all the programs you need to follow these tutorials including "DVDDecryptor", the BEST dvd ripping program around and it is all open source freeware.
