Kami Posts: 5,113 Group: Members Member #283 Joined: December 10, 2006	It has nothing to do with oi being Zetaboards. This would happen with any board software you installed. All software for that matter is buggy and has shortcomings. There is no such thing as perfect, bug free software that does everything you want. it's just the nature of the beast. Question: Do any of you regularly visit Zeta's forum for admins? They update info all the time on how the work is going on the software and are fixing stuff daily. For instance, I discovered that the mod feature we need for the RPG board has been temporarily disabled while they upgrade it. It shouldn't be down long. It was just our bad luck we needed it just as this happened. There is also a list of bug fixes as well and they've covered quite a few of them, like the calender/birthday bug for instance. Someone should check to see if your being prompted to perhaps upload fixes or if this is just happening by itself. They're actually doing a pretty good job keeping up with this stuff. I'm impressed. At least they're not like a lot of software providers that make you live with the crud and refuse to fix anything for like a whole year until they release the next version. Even then it doesn't fix everything or makes new bugs and then you have to wait another whole year for the next version release. I hate that crap. Edited by Vegetasgirl, Jul 12 2008, 07:54 PM.
