It's awesome, so let's appreciate it with a general, all-purpose One Piece thread, just to keep things simple. Discuss anything One Piece be it character, background, plot... anything! Do it! Now! I, for one, would like to discuss future crew potential. Anyone got any ideas on what role needs filling. They got a shipwright and a musician now. What's next?

At present the straw hats seem to have other issues on their minds, for about three days and nights no less

Just doesn't feel like a possibility. And Camie, as well, just doesn't seem like a potential crew member. I agree on the fishman/woman front though. They'll probably pick one up in the bit with Jinbei.

Have you guys seen the spoilers for this week's chapter? I can't even begin to express the epicness of this series right now. But aside from that, I think the Strawhats will need to learn about Haki and how to use it to survive and make it through the New World. A lot of people seem to think that's how Rayleigh countered Kizaru's attacks and even sliced his cheek. They must be in such a bad state of mind right now after all this. Yeah, they pwned one Pacifista, but that was it. By the time another came with Sentomaru AND a Marine Admiral, they were too worn out to keep fighting strong opponents. And now they are suffering the consequences. I bet Luffy regrets hitting that Tenryuubito now. Edited by Maffy, Sep 4 2008, 04:08 PM.

I just got into One Piece because the Funimation dubs, the art stlye (I really enjoy Oda work. So, I did a "little" mix of his art style into my own art style), story plot, and... nico robin (Yeah, I'm a perv... ) So, I'm a noob into One Piece! So, can anyone give me a Quick run-down on One Piece? I know about Luffys, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper dreams and back storys (Yeah, 4kids dubs......HEY! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING TO THE ANIME!!). But I don't know anything about Nico Robin, Franky, & Brook (well, kind of) back storys. Or the arks, etcs!

My suggestion is to simply read the manga. You like the anime? You will love the manga imo. I don't want to give a lot away about those characters, especially Brooke and Robin.
