We need your help to make the film, we need you to get people excited about us and the films were are trying to make....We are trying to make this not just for ourselves but the milllions of Evanglion fans and we need your help so badly! We are trying to make this a true to the show but as diffrent as film. it will be half the show, half the manga, half are own ideas...but we need your help. We will look back, as much as we can and talk to fans in an on going Q\A. Post your questions and we will write back. Thank you, Evanglion 91 First real post: "Cast\Script." We are writing one long script that will be cut in to three induvidual films. Also about the cast people....don't get mad. This is going to be japanese people and Americans. The Charaters, some will be mix like Aska: German\Southern American. Misato: American\Japanese The cast as we have envisioned will be: Hugh Laurie as GENDO, India menzell as Mistato, And kristen chenoweth as Ritsico. that's all for now and we can't wait for to hear from you fans. Stryyder is that ok with you, I will post the first page of my script and nothing more, I have to keep this safe until it's all done. Evangelion91, please clarify if I'm wrong in any of this: Him and his friend are trying to write a script for Evangelion, but they aren't doing it for any specific movie company. They are looking for one. I think that he thought we were affiliated with some film companies, but we are not. Now, Evangelion91, if you want to post some of your script here, that's fine. We'd love to read it and see what ideas you have. But like you said in your PM there could be a chance of someone using your ideas, so know that and maybe just post some of your script and not all of it. Another thing, are you from the US? How can I protect it from being stolen, reused, rewritten and turned in to the Dragon Ball Z NGE film. God knows we don't want that! but yes, I know...I know we have not seen the film yet....but from the trailer it does not seem like the Dragon ball we knew and loved! You have to use your own discretion in posting what you want. If you want to give a little overview, maybe that'd be better. But know that there's no way we can really get you noticed by WETA or any other comapny. This forum is just for fan discussion and reporting on the latest news.

Honestly I would not recommend posting it on the net. If you post it don't post the full thing. Just a few pages. Gives people and idea of what you're doing. You can always register the final script with the writers guild through their website. It'll protect it to an extent, but since what you're writing is something that someone else owns the copyright for it's not going to protect you as far as if you were writing completely original material. In the end, whomever WETA and whatever production company that makes NGE hires to write the film can pretty much write whatever they want even if it's your idea that you posted on the net. And there really is no consequence for them. Unless it's EXACTLY what you wrote. Then there might be something one could do in that case. I'm no lawyer and don't know much about copyright law so I can't really say what one could do, if anything. Nobody here is trying to be mean or rude. It's just that over the years this site and forum has existed there have been many people (started from the Dragonball movie) that have said they work on the movie, or writing the movie, or know someone who knows someone. And it's never true. So there's just a lot of skepticism built up on the matter. And being its the internet and anyone can say anything they please, it makes it more difficult to trust people. So hopefully you understand our side of it. But you know, in the end it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. If you're having fun writing your NGE scripts then go for it! That's all that matters is that you're having a good time. Write them out, get a literary agent, and try to get them submitted to WETA. A literary agent is going to be your key.
