So it looks like more people are jumping on the bandwagon of producing anime and manga related films. ANN just reported this earlier today:

The new company headed by producers Michael Cerenzie (Deuces Wild, City of Ghosts) and Christine Peters (The Out-of-Towners, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) have already raised $200 million from Swiss, Japanese, and Indian investors. No word was mentioned on which manga titles they plan on securing, but they have secured two video game titles, those being the Legendary game for XBOX 360 and the arcade game Joust. Cerenzi-Peters Productions also has an agreement with Paramount Pictures, giving Paramount the opportunity to distribute or release any film the the company produces before other studios get a chance to look at it.

I'm curious to know exactly what titles they'll be securing. I wonder if we can expect to see any in the next couple of years.
