Autobot Posts: 820 Group: Global Moderator Member #573 Joined: June 12, 2007	in my opinion, this movie doesn't screw up the story to the point of making a sequel impossible (as in too different from the source) i think a properly made sequel is perfectly possible, and instead of a reboot, i'd like to see a remake of the first chapter, a do-over, with a kid Goku, Pilaf and again Lord Piccolo, and all else, only properly adapted.

They should have all new talent, and kind of do what they should of, give a synopsis of the important things in DB like LOTR did, then continue with Z. Then if they are successful enough to a remake of the DB series. A DBZ movie or Remake I don't really care as long as they pretend DBE never existed I'm fine.

Don't worry guys, I'm pretty sure the bulma.nl story is an April Fools' Joke, they're a little ahead of us in the time zones I think. Honestly, I think it's too early to begin discussing a reboot/remake right now. Plus, with a trilogy lined up, I highly doubt we'll get one at any point in the near future.

Perhaps Universal could one day; the globe in their logo could turn into a dragonball. I'd like to make a live action adaptation of Dragonball one day myself. Hopefully I can.

Battle Angel Posts: 164 Group: Members Member #93 Joined: May 13, 2006	well, I guess we won't start this argument all over again.. there won't be a sequel that's for sure...they only made 55 mill with this flick.. the next movie should be at least 75 mill to start, so they will need about 85 mill at the box ofice for having profit...but that's without really making money at all. And with all the negative comment about the first film, who wants to see the sequel? Nobody... So I'm sure there won't be any sequel
