What it seems like is an interview paid for and set up by Fox as a last minute thing. They have done a sh*t load of pretty useless interviews for the past half a year and this is just another one for them, marginal if you will. So, they had fun with it. Its not surprising at all, besides they are now hollywood actors getting paid a boat load with a high chance of a sequel, so they don't give a rats ass. I found the interviews funny, and light hearted. But it wasn't their fault that the interviews were less, sophisticated, I guess, because the interviewer asked terrible questions and therefore sucked. They weren't meant to be deep and revealing, just fun for the hard core fans and for Latino Review's fans and readers. If you guys wanted good interviews, then everyone should have hoped for talk show appearances. But like I predicted beforehand, they wouldn't get any because of their lack of fame and the kind of film that DB is. |

I thought that was pretty funny. they've been doing so many interviews by now and answering the same dumb questions over and over they.re beginning to get goofy. A couple of good points in there were James' line after Jamie explained how she found out what her character name meant. "Are you kidding me?" Lol! I also got a kick out of Justin's story about biting the other kid in Karate class. You know it was a complete load and he was trying to keep a straight face through it all. I loved Emmy talking about what's next. She'd just luv to get her some Vegeta! Yeah! You go girl! She actually came off sounding like her anime counterpart on that, getting all giggly at the thought of a cute guy! Lol! When Justin talked about the sequel and quickly added "if there is one" to cover his arse (don't think they were supposed to say anything just yet), Emmy just started wiggling in her chair like she just wanted to blurt out everything she knew about it. It was obvious they're keeping a secret of some kind and they were trying not to say what it was. James did the same thing in his TV Guide interview in the other thread. When it got mentioned he said"yes, I heard about that" and nervously skirted the subject like a politician. |

Even if they're keeping secrets, which they aren't its just confidential info about a film that they are told not to talk about, which happens all the time, it doesn't matter in the end because the studio could easily cancel it the next day or so. The big "secret" is probably that they are in the process of thinking about green lighting its pre production as they are working with people to plan out what its budget would look like and such...since all of the of the actors have already signed on, which means they can factor in their salaries into the budget and so on. And this should be obvious since we've already heard that Fox is planning on jump starting the sequel's production process. So, I guess in the end the big "secret" is that they are really now either considering that or in the works to follow through with that. |
